I am an instructional designer and higher education professional. Backed by a Doctor of Education and over 20 years of experience in the educational field, I am currently expanding my instructional frameworks through a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. My deep areas of expertise include curriculum development, adult learning principles, inclusive pedagogical practices, and online course design. I am highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, and Canva alongside extensive, hands-on administration within core Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, and Brightspace.

What drives my passion for instructional design is a lifelong commitment to advancing student achievement; this is reflected in my recent professional milestone of serving as a primary writer for the Michigan Department of Education’s Early Childhood Standards of Quality for Birth to Kindergarten.
